HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!!

Adam's birthday was yesterday and we had lots of fun.  He had to go to Tucson for the day for work and Landen spent the night so we decided to go to Wal-mart and pick out his favorite candy and make him a candy gram.  That's what Landen wanted to do for his birthday.  This is what he came up with.  I couldn't help but laugh my head off.    You may not be able to ready the whole thing but it was hilarious.  Our friends had us over for a BBQ at their house and we ended up back home with Danny and Mel and watched August Rush.  It was a very mellow Friday but very nice!  Thanks Mel and Danny for your kindness Adam loves Red Robin.

So, we also had lots of fun with Krew on Daddy's birthday!!  He is getting so smart and has the cutest personality.  So, we were trying to teach him to smile when he sees the camera so we can take some cute pictures.  Well, this is what his personality told him to do every time he sees the camera.  Now we can't get him to smile.  HAHA.  I seriously almost peed my pants because they are so freaking cute and so funny..

WHAT'S UP??

I have been such a slacker.  This week I have been just taking it easy.  Dr's found kidney stones.  So, I get to wait until I pee them out!!  OUCH.  

I finally got my hair done. Of course Adam can't try to take a serious picture anymore. 

Krew started swimming lessons.  YEAH!!!  He also is doing sippy cup 100% no more baba!!

He had his 1 year check today here are the stats:

Weight: 20.4  10%

Height: 31 in. 90%

Head: 47 3/4cm 90%

So so big.  He has taken his first couple steps but he gets a little scared and cowls down.  

Here are pictures from his first day at swim.  He now sits on the edge falls in and turns around, reaches for the ledge and monkey walks to the steps!  They learn so fast.

The moment you were born, you took our breath away.  Your daddy said he would never cry but you changed that.  Your daddy said he would always make sure to protect you and he does.  Your daddy swore he wouldn't watch you come into the world, but your cry made him curious.  You have been the most perfect angel and we are so lucky you picked us as your mommy and daddy.  There are so many days I sit and think about all the things I am sad about and one of the only things I am happy about is you.  You keep me happy and strong.  I don't quite know what the future holds, but I know you a strong spirit sent here from our Father in Heaven to teach mommy some new things.  You are my safe haven.  When I get frustrated and start screaming, you join in and laugh as though it was meant to be that way all along.  Then I can't help to look at the situation through your eyes.  When mommy starts to raise her voice, you point at me with your scowl and say, "shhhhhh".  Then when I glance at you, your charm turns on and you smile and bat those beautiful eyelashes.  Your laugh is so contagious.  

Here is what you have learned in the last year;

Holding your head up, clapping your hands, sitting, standing, crawling, banging pans, sign language, fake cry, kisses, hugs, playing, crawling up the stairs, running away from mommy and daddy, play hide and seek, tell mommy "i lub you", wrestle with daddy, eat big kid food and YOU LEARNED HOW TO GET YOUR WAY.  (oh but when sunday comes, that won't be happening anymore).  

You are my hero buddy.  I love you,

MOTHERS DAY CRAFTS

First off HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE MOMMIES!!  

I had such a busy FUN weekend!!  It started Friday.  I went in to work for 2 hours, then came home and my husband was so sweet.  He went to work extra early so he could be home early to allow my mom and I to get out.  We went and got manicures and pedicures and it was so relaxing.  Then we went out to eat at my FAVORITE place, Gecko Grill (love their chips and salsa).  

Then we came back home and it was overload for me!!  I had crafts galore to make.  I made her mothers day card.  A set of coasters, blocks that say "HOME" and a cute hanging plaque that says "LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE".  I actually liked it so much, I think I will make one for me.  

We played games all weekend and it was so nice to just relax.  This morning wasn't so great though.  I wake up at like 4 am with massive pelvic pain, took 4 tylenol, 2 advil and went back to sleep, woke up at 7 to get ready for church and the pain was still there.  Ugggh!!  So, as we pull in to the church, I told Adam he needed to take me to the E.R. now because I was in so much pain, I have never experienced that before!!  

My husband, as much as I love him, can be very insensitive at times and was a bit annoyed that I felt I had to go. The hospital got me right back without waiting at all, got me in a room, hooked me up to an I.V. pumped me full of morphine, took me back to get an ultra sound, and taaaa-daaaaa!!!!!!  Nina has a huge cyst on my left ovary and a large mass on the side of my ovary.  Ohhh genetics rears it's ugly head!!!  So, the conversation Adam and I had a week or so ago, was because of my intuition, not because I am crazy!!!

I told him I had been thinking alot about rushing our family through because I had a feeling we would be out of commission here pretty soon.  Something has just been eating away at me about babies!!  So, my trip to the E.R. confirmed that yes, we will start rushing through the babies (only 2 maybe 3 more).  I'm pretty sure we will only be waiting 4 mo. in between each one, that is, if I can get pregnant!!  Anyways.......  that was my lovely mothers day!!  Here are some pictures from the crafts to the hospital!!!

I can't believe how grown up he is already.  He is so big and doesn't even look like the same little guy!!  I just love it when he laughs so hard, he can't breathe and his face turns red!!  Now, his new favorite thing to do is for us to put him in his mini radio flyer and wheel him around the living room, he loves that so much he even holds on for dear life!!!  The last video is from october 2008.  He was so young and he doesn't even look like the same baby, he has like NO hair!!  Anyways, I love his little personality now, I can't believe he will be 1 in 20 days!!!

I am behind on my Happy Birthdays!!

Jac- Hope ya had a great birthday!!  It's been 6 years since we became friends!!  Boy does time freaking fly.  Amazing how back then we would always talk about these days now.  Babies, Husbands everything.  Awwh those were the days!! 

FLORIDA

Ok, well there are going to be several posts because I am going to be doing day by day so let's begin....

Day 1

Sunday:  We didn't have time on Saturday night to think of what we were going to do for food.  Well I am not big on eating out, so we had to go stock up on food for the week.  That's how we spend our Sunday.  Not much to it.  We went to an outside mall and walked around a lot as well, ya know just hung out.  

Day 2

Monday: We get woken up at 3 a.m. to Krew barfing his guts up.  Poor guy, this was the wonderful beginning of our trip.  We went and got pedialite and got ready to head to gator land. (Keep in mind, we were out numbered, by 1 teenager, 2 pre-teenagers and a very very persistent 4 year old that we love and adore so so much).  Yeah, not my cup of tea, but I put on my happy face!!  The pictures can tell it all.

Day 3

Tuesday: Still waking up to Krew puking.  So, this time I took him to Urgent Care.  Yeah I got slack for it ya know cause I react too fast and just take him at the drop of a hat, but I would think a baby that has a temp of 102 would be pretty good reason enough.  Anyways, we had to get some medicine for him and after that we were once again on the go to Animal Kingdom.  We didn't really have time to think what we should do  and I wished we would have stayed at the condo with him so he could sleep in his comfy bed.  Animal Kingdom was fun though as much as it can be with a sick baby.  Pictures again to follow.

Day 4

Wednesday: Ok by this time I was ready to go home, but we still had 3.5 more days!!  We went to Walt Disney World.  I was really excited about the fact that we had to take a ferry boat to get to it.  However, Krew ended up barfing up everything he had in his tummy the last day.  So, we had to wash him off, wash off his stroller and they were awesome in the fact that they gave us a blanket and outfit for free!!  $60.00 value!!  

Day 5

Thursday:  A break from Theme Parks Finally!!  We headed down to the beach and laid out all day.  Well, 3 hours.  So, our time came too quickly.  I think I got skin cancer or something!!  Anyways,  the trip was ok, but next time it's going to be no parents, no kids and no phones!!!  

Day 6

Friday:  Ebcott, Adam forgot our tickets and I didn't want to be there so basically IT SUCKED!! 

and Saturday we missed our flight and didn't get home until 3!!!!!!

All in all, I wouldn't do it again unless is was the girls, adam, no kids and no phones!!
