ABOUT US

Adam and I met in July of 2004 and were married in the Bountiful temple in December of 2005. I am from AZ so we moved back here in June of 2007. We have 3 boys. Landen 10 (previous marriage), Krew 3 and Kade 7 months. Oh yeah and we have 1 little dog, who is a daddy's princess and thinks she well...knows she has him wrapped around her little finger. I am the CEO of this wonderful family and Adam is the Founder and President. I have a masters degree in changing poopy diapers, cooking, cleaning, laundry and blogging. I speak a foreign language (baby talk).
Actually, I have been a Dental office manager for about 16 years at different offices and just started a new small business called Dental AR Solutions. I love being a mom and am so grateful that my husband allows me to be home to see our boys grow up.

Gordon B. Hinckley dies at 97

So, I went to bed last night at 9 p.m. and for everyone that
knows me, knows that it's hard for me to fall asleep. So, as
I am finally asleep, my husband comes in and quietly wakes
me and I thought ok something serious has happened cause
he knows never to wake me. He told me Pres. Hinckley died
and it was on the CNN news channel. I just layed there with
nothing to say. I got up and went down stairs to see. I was
so sad to hear the news because he is one amazing man.
I know he is in a happier place, being with his wife that he
loves so much. My uncle use to be his interpeter when he
was on his mission and Pres. Hinckley was in the seventy.
I loved hearing about those stories. I will miss hearing
him speak at general conference. I went to 1 general
conference in my whole life and I swear the talk he gave,
was what I needed to hear. He will be missed.

HEATH LEDGER HAS PASSED AWAY

Yeah that's right, he passed away today and was found dead in his manhattan apartment at 3:26 pm. Police say it may have been related to drugs but are unsure. I am especially sad because I think he is a great actor, plus he is the star actor in my most favorite movie, the patriot. His poor little girl.....

Grandmother's Hands

Ok I got this from Gwen's blog. I cried. It's so sweet

GRANDMA'S HANDS
Grandma, some ninety plus years, sat feebly on the patio bench. She didn't move, just sat with her head down staring at her hands. When I sat down beside her she didn't acknowledge my presence and the longer I sat I wondered if she was OK.
Finally, not really wanting to disturb her but wanting to check on herat the same time, I asked her if she was OK. She raised her head and looked at me and smiled. "Yes, I'm fine, thank you for asking," she said in a clear voice strong."I didn't mean to disturb you, grandma, but you were just sitting here staring at your hands and I wanted to make sure you were OK," I explained to her."Have you ever looked at your hands," she asked. "I mean reallylooked at your hands?"I slowly opened my hands and stared down at them. I turned them over, palms up and then palms down. No, I guess I had never really looked atmy hands as I tried to figure out the point she was making.
Grandma smiled and related this story: "Stop and think for a moment about the hands you have, how they have served you well through out your years. These hands, though wrinkled shriveled and weak have been the tools I have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life. "They braced and caught my fall when as a toddler I crashed upon the floor. They put food in my mouth and clothes on my back. As a child, my mother taught me to fold them in prayer. They tied my shoes and pulled on my boots. They held my husband and wiped my tears when he went off to war.
"They have been dirty, scraped and raw, swollen and bent. They were uneasy and clumsy when I tried to hold my newborn son. Decoratedwith my wedding band they showed the world that I was married and loved someonespecial. They wrote my letters to him and trembled and shook when I buried my parents and spouse. "They have held my children and grandchildren, consoled neighbors, and shook in fists of anger when I didn't understand. They have covered my face, combed my hair, and washed and cleansed the rest of my body. They have been sticky and wet, bent and broken, dried and raw. And to this day when not much of anything else of me works real well these hands hold me up, lay me down, and again continue to fold in prayer.
"These hands are the mark of where I've been and the ruggedness of life. But more importantly it will be these hands that God will reach out and take when he leads me home. And with my hands He will lift me to His side and there I will use these hands to touch the face ofChrist.
"I will never look at my hands the same again. But I remember God reached out and took my grandma's hands and led her home. When my hands are hurt or sore or when I stroke the face of my children and husband I think of grandma. I know she has been stroked and caressed and held by the hands of God.

MY LONG CRAFTY WEEKEND!!!

So, I have been dying to make myself a baby budget
book, so I can keep track of things I need and set up
a budget to know where my limits are. This is my 2nd
child and my 1st is 7, so I am pretty much starting over
again. The only thing I have so far that was pretty pricey
is a Jeep 3 wheel stroller, and a good friend has a brand
new one that her grandchildren never used. I was so
excited when she said I could have it. So now I have to
buy a crib, dresser, changing table, swing, high chair, and all
the other fun stuff. I have to thank my friend Gwen for this
idea. She made a fitness diary so I took her idea and made this.
This is the front of the book, I modge podged paper to the
front and added a green layer. Then but cute buttons on
the side to give it some pizzaz!! By the way the P is for his name
which after a long talk we FINALLY both decided on a name
that I am so excited about because Landen kind of picked it
out and we both fell in love with it!! So, his name is going to be
PRESTON ADAM OLSON!! (we still haven't decided on spelling
but so far I like this. I have never liked to follow trends and have
the same spelling as everyone else, which is why my 1st born is
Landen with an "E" instead of Landon with an "O" which everyone
thinks that's how he spells it)!!

This is the front inside, which I had to make a pocket
because I know I will see things in a magazine, that I will
forget about later or misplace it. I just taped the sides and
bottom and put a cute border on the top and a sticker in the
middle!!

It was easy, took me 20 minutes. Unfortunately,
I have to end my crafty weekend, because my house
is in need of some attention. I had a blast, but didn't get
done what I wanted too. I have next weekend though to
finish up!!!!!

OK!! Here is a valentines card!! Yeah I know again
very simple and easy!! Once I start at something,
the ideas will start coming. I am going to actually
start making Landen sweetheart holders with cute
ribbon ties, so thats my day tomorrow. Let's see if
I get sick of it or not!!

This was easy!! It probably looks a tad bit
preschool ish, but I have never made cards before so, I am
glad I am even trying!!

Ok, so I was so excited to come home and start my
weekend of card making, and other projects, so I started
with this!! I have to tell everyone though, I left all the
stamps a friend from work gave me in my tahoe so this
was basically just the tools I had so obviously it's plain!!

Also, I only had scissors and tomorrow I am going
to buy a paper cutter because I am not so proud of
this!! So, this is a cute pocket with a card I got from
stampin when I can. It was really easy but I couldn't
get it perfect. It's a little crooked!! Besides the fact
that I could not get my damn camera to take a great
picture!! Well, this is all for now but will have more to
come soon!! I don't have a clue what card this will be
meant for so please if you have any ideas, let me know!
I am new to this whole crafty thing. I am a scrapbooking
kind of a girl!!! But, my friend Gwen from work is so
amazing with cards she made me want to take a stab
at it!!

Christmas Fleece Blanket

Ok so here was another crafty gift I made for a sister in law!! I loved it, I don't know if she did, but it was really easy. Adam even helped!! It was so soft and warm. As a matter of fact I am making myself and Adam one as well!! They are so fun to make and you can even put it with a theme. Her theme was a moment in time. Earlier, I posted a cute bag and tin with a paper holder that matches this blanket!!
